Complimentary & Integrative Modalities that Benefit the Postpartum Family Unit

Including Complimentary & Integrative medicine within postpartum teaching is essential when trying to focus on whole person wellness and root cause care. Because of this, we have created a presentation with handouts included that discusses the benefits of CIM therapies during the postpartum period for not only mama, but baby and the whole family unit as well. Research within this field is an important piece as it creates evidence-based theories and allows future research to continue deeper into the benefits of CIM therapies.

I've included below a link to the presentation with speaker notes describing what material will be covered, as well as a link to access the handouts associated with the lecture and presentation.

By knowing what changes are ahead, how to tackle them, what resources are available for support, and when to ask for help will set you, and your new family up for success. This early postpartum period helps set the tone for parenthood and can be a huge way to leverage the overall health and well-being of each person as you continue your journey.
